There are many places to visit in the Emirates, combined with its magnificent buildings, attractive nature and modern structure.  

• Dubai / Burj Khalifa: Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world, is used as a residence and hotel. It is 830 meters high and has 163 floors. It was built in 2010.
• Dubai / Burj Al Arab: The 7-star sailing-shaped hotel is the symbol of Dubai. It is 321 meters above the ground. It was constructed on an artificial island, and the hotel is connected to the mainland through a unique path.
• Dubai / Palm Island: The area consists of numerous artificial little islands. This touristic area, dazzling with its entertainment centers and luxury accommodation facilities, can be seen even from space. Reflecting the magnificent life of Dubai, Palm Islands are located on the shore of the Persian Gulf.
• Abu Dhabi / Qasr Al Hosn: This castle, also known as White Castle or Old Castle, was built for military purposes in 1761. The castle is used today as the Ministry of Culture and is open to visitors from time to time.
• Abu Dhabi / Yas Island: This island was turned into a shopping and amusement region in 2006. In Yas Island, there are restaurants, shopping centers, water park and a marina. Many popular luxury hotels are also serving in this region.
• Abu Dhabi / Ferrari World: Locating in Yas Island, Ferrari World is the only amusement park in the world with the brand name ‘Ferrari’. Things to Know Before Visiting United Arab Emirates

• Public transport in the country is well developed. In almost all the cities of Emirates, buses are the most common medium of public transportation. There are also ferry and metro lines in some cities.
• The United Arab Emirates require a visa for regular passport holder Turkish Citizens. Turkish citizens can get that visa from the United Arab Emirates Consulates in İstanbul or Ankara or from the airline companies that has flights between the two countries. Special passport holders are exempted from visa. European Union citizens can travel to Emirates without visa up to 90 days.
• The United Arab Emirates uses Emirati Dirham as the currency.
• The United Arab Emirates has a warm tropical climate close to the desert climate. In summer, the weather is above 40 Celsius degrees whereas it has relatively cool weather during winter. Winter temperature is around 10 Celsius degrees in the country.

Among the United Arab Emirates cities, we fly to Dubai and Abu Dhabi directly from İstanbul.  

• Dubai International Airport

There are several ways to reach from Dubai International Airport to Dubai city center. You may either use public transport (bus or metro) or take a taxi. There is also a car rental opportunity at the airport. If you want to use public transport, as for the first option, you take the bus numbers 401, 402, 11, 44, 15, 33, 3 and 4. Busses work 7/24 in every 7-20 minutes intervals. On average, it takes 1 hour to get to the city center by bus. As for the second public transport option, you can take the metro, that reaches the city center around 40 minutes. Metro works during the nights as well, in every 10-minute intervals.  

• Abu Dhabi International Airport

To reach from Abu Dhabi International Airport to Abu Dhabi city center, you can take public transport or a taxi, as well as you can rent a car at the airport. The most economical way to get to the city center is the buses that you can take from Terminal 1, 2 and 3. You can take bus number A1, 490, 211, 240 or X81 that work 24/7. By these buses, it takes approximately 45 minutes to get to the city center, depending on the traffic.  

• Ras Al Khaimh Airport

Ras Al Khaimh Airport is located nearly 20 kilometers away from the city center. Ras Al Khaimh Airport is quite big. It has VIP Terminals and Lounges, shops and restaurants in the airport for passengers to rest while waiting for their flights. For transportation from the airport to city center, passengers can use the Al Hamra Buses or taxis. There are several number of different taxi companies that serve at the airport.
