Check-in

To avoid any issues with your flight, you must be at the airport at least 2 hours before the scheduled departure time.

At Pegasus, check-in closes 45 minutes before the scheduled departure time for domestic flights, and 60 minutes before the scheduled departure time for Northern Cyprus and international flights. Passengers who have not completed their baggage drop-off and check-in procedures by this time will lose all rights related to that flight. During check-in, passengers must present a photo ID card for domestic flights, such as a national ID card, driving licence or passport. For international flights, passengers must have their passport with them. For Cyprus flights, passengers must have either a passport or national ID card; travelling with a driving licence is not permitted. For children under the age of 18 travelling alone to Cyprus, if they will be travelling with a Turkish Republic National ID Card, a power of attorney from their mother or father is required. The power of attorney must be approved by a notary or official authorities. Passengers under the age of 18 who are travelling with their mother must have a power of attorney from their father, and passengers travelling with their father must have a power of attorney from their mother. If the rules stated above are not fulfilled, passengers will not be accepted on the flight.

Documents Accepted on Domestic Flights

In accordance with security regulations, only the following documents will be accepted for passenger identity checks on domestic flights:

National ID Card
Driving Licence
Passport
Birth certificate up to one month after birth, provided that it is presented together with the parent’s ID.

Documents Not Accepted on Domestic Flights

Documents other than those listed above will not be accepted on domestic flights. In addition, the following documents presented by passengers will not be accepted as identification:

Photocopy or fax copy of an ID
Printout of a Turkish Republic ID number obtained online

Photocopies of the identity documents and all documents accepted as identity documents listed above will not be accepted as valid identification.
