I have purchased my travel insurance along with my return flight ticket. But then, I have changed my flight dates. In such cases, will I still benefit from my 30-day valid travel insurance?
Yes. Your travel insurance will start and be valid on the new travel dates.
What is the maximum age limit for purchasing a Travel Insurance policy?
Minimum age for the embedded travel insurance is 2 months and no maximum age limit. However certain excesses apply for the passengers over 64 years of age. On the white site; Schengen Visa Health Insurance is limited with 80 years-old, Travel Guard Annual Travel Insurance with 65 years-old and other insurance options with 75 years-old.
What is the expiry date of Travel Insurance?
The travel insurance is valid between the policy inception and expiry dates which are determined by the insured.
What is the territorial area of Domestic Travel Insurance policy?
It is valid within the borders of Turkey and indemnifies you during your travels within the territory of Turkey.
What is the Geographical coverage of the policy?
Travel Guard – Designed for Pegasus Airlines customers, the coverage is valid to all the destinations that are serviced by Pegasus Airlines (except for Cuba, Congo and Afghanistan). For all the other products please note the coverage below:
- Schengen Product – Coverage is valid in Schengen countries only.
Worldwide Products – Coverage is valid in all countries worldwide except Cuba, Afghanistan and Democratic Republic of Congo
Domestic Product – Coverage is valid only within Turkey

Anyone who travels within and/or outbound Turkey with eligible age limit.

To whom should I notify my claim for indemnification?
After the event, which causes the indemnification, please call us at +90 212 310 4999 and notify the event.
In which cases may I benefit from the Emergency Medical Transport Indemnification?
In order to obtain the emergency medical transport indemnification, firstly the verification must be obtained from Travel Guard Assist Individual Accident Department at (44) 014 1303 4400 or this contact should be established through AIG Sigorta A.Ş.

How long does it take to evaluate a claims file?
Your claim for indemnification will be evaluated within 2 days, following your documents are placed into the file under the General and Special Conditions of your policy.
I got a severe toothache during my travel and went to a dentist. Does my policy cover my tooth treatment costs?
The natural and healthy tooth treatment, which occurs immediately during the travel and is covered by the policy and is proven by the doctor report, shall be indemnified against the tooth filling, surgical intervention, service or drug as $100 per tooth.
I experienced a food poisoning case due to the food which I ate during my travel, I, myself, paid the invoices, may I collect the treatment charges from the insurance company?
In case where the insurer suffers an illness which is diagnosed for the first time and shows symptoms or suffers from the bodily injury as a result of an accident during the travel, the necessary service and drug costs for their treatments will be paid up to the limits indicated in the insurance policy under the General and Special Conditions of the insurance policy. I have lost my watch in my handbag during the travel, may I claim for indemnification from the lost luggage indemnification?
Luggage is defined as checked in by the airline therefore your claim may not be paid from the lost luggage indemnification.
