Attention To Our Guests Who Want To Carry Weapons On Board
Dear Guest,
In line with our Pegasus policy of making flying as economic as possible for the maximum number of people, we offer a basic flight service cost separated from all other service costs. This enables us to keep our ticket prices to a minimum by giving passengers the opportunity to buy other services that depend on personal preference according to their own wishes.
From 1 January 2018, the service we provide that enables you to take weapons with you on your flight will be subject to an extra service charge. The weapons transportation service costs TRY 20.
Passengers who need to carry weapons with them on their flight will need to go to the weapons drop-off points at the airport before going through security controls at the airport entrance. Afterwards, passengers can pay for the service at the desks in the airport using either cash or credit cards. Once they have completed transactions at the desk, guests will be given a tag which they must then take back to the weapons drop-off point.
Passengers who are exempt from the weapons transportation fee are specified below. In order to benefit from this exemption, these passengers must present valid ID documents during the flight registration process at the check-in desk. All passengers except for those specified below will be subject to the supplementary charge for licensed weapons and their components. The transportation of weapons for sporting purposes is also subject to this supplementary charge.
